How to Clean a Cashmere Knit Blanket?

Cashmere is a fabric made from the undercoat of cashmere goats. It is very soft, warm, and very durable. Still, dry-cleaning solvents are tough on fibers, causing them to dry out and break. Once stains appear, treat them with plain soda water and a clean rag. Wipe off the stain without rubbing. If necessary, use a mild laundry detergent or baby shampoo to clean the stain.

You can put the cashmere blanket in the washing machine if you choose to use cold water on the fine wash and spin settings.
